Focus On Imaging 2013

The destination of the interest for the very beginning of March was quite diverse from simply travelling: this time it was a professional one with visiting the largest European annual event of its kind, and the biggest imaging show in the UK, Focus on Imaging.

The photography show was really worthy to visit. On over 20,000 sq.m. location the National Exhibition Centre gathered plenty photographers, cameras, post-production companies, workshops and models. Some focus my attention was made on the last two.

This photo of the collection of old-fashioned photo cameras is made in light antique split tone to highlight the collection of the old-fashioned cameras standing out among the latest technologies in the photography industry.

The stand with wireless equipment Pro-Light is something that the very first cameras were not dreaming about. It was hard to resist to put the trigger on and try the difference of shooting with off-flash and with just the ISO high. A beautiful model Karcia was much in help.

Photo taken with the off-flash wireless light (above), and without (below)

As some more outcomes of the workshops visited are on the way, some of the working photos are ready to go.
